Choice Bank – Diversity, Equity and Inclusion in the Workplace
May 25, 2021 @ 12:00 pm - 1:30 pm

Diversity and equity are incredibly important not only to ensure the success of your business but to build an inclusive environment where your employees can thrive. Join us as Dee Baskin, Executive Director of Loan Repayment Assistance Program of Minnesota, covers how to begin the journey toward creating a more equitable business. Research has shown that companies with more diverse staff have higher revenues than companies that don’t. Customers, employees, and vendors are prioritizing who they work with based on shared values. Someone who feels like the business doesn’t “get” them will go to a business that does. There are many approaches for a business to start its equity journey. Dee will share how a basic understanding of people who are different from yourself is critical to finding success and fulfillment in business.
